Young Leaders: Harold Wiggs Middle School

Isabella Fraire, 7th Grade

“My Mother and Grandmother, by example, have taught me the value of hard work and success. I DO NOT like failure.”

Isabella Fraire

Isabella has been in the Gifted and Talented Program since the 5th grade and is a member of the National Junior Honor Society. At an early age she was influenced by her mathematics professor, Ms. Erica Ahunada, to understand the importance of community service. She volunteers regularly at Memorial Park following local events and is a member of the Harold Wiggs Volley Ball team. Isabella is an inspiration to her peers by showing them that hard work pays off and we are proud to make her our first El Paso Star co-recipient of the Young Leaders Award.

Cesar Romero, 7th Grade

“My Mom and Dad graduated college later in life and always taught me to work hard and stay focused to accomplish your dreams.”

Cesar Romero

Cesar was nominated as an Ambassador for Harold Wiggs Middle School due to his exemplary scholastic accomplishments and community awareness. Cesar helps with fundraisers and frequently volunteers for multiple school activities. In his spare time Cesar enjoys playing piano, Legos and is a member of the chess club. His sister and Labrador/Shepherd mix, Bear, are very special to him and he continues to raise awareness to serve and help others. We are proud to make him our first El Paso Star co-recipient of the Young Leaders Award.
